Girls Night Out golf league will once again return to
VanBerg on Thursdays with reserved tee times between 4:00 and 6:00.
Ladies can sign up for weekly league play simply by making a tee time on Thursday’s at VanBerg between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. If unable to play on any particular Monday, ladies may “make up” the missed round as long as it’s done prior to the following Thursday.
The format has women playing their own ball for nine holes using 100% of an established handicap (players without a handicap will be assigned one while a new handicap is being established). Each week, participants will receive points according to their finish. These points will accumulate throughout the season, and prizes will be awarded at the end. In addition to the points, other on-course prize winners (closest to the pin, longest putt made, etc) will be awarded credit from the weekly prize fund. Weekly results and current standings will be emailed to all regular participants and subs that have an email on file.
Ladies may also purchase a maximum of two “mulligans” weekly for $1.00 each to be used anytime that evening. This money goes toward the season-ending CASH scramble in August.
The $20 one-time seasonal entry fee may be paid on your first evening of play. For non-pass holders, the greens fee is $15 and the cart fee is $11.
