2010 Girl's Night Out Golf at VanBerg... beginning May 6th, 2010

            Van Berg golf course will once again host a Thursday evening “Girls
Night Out” Ladies Golf League. This league, which begins play the first Thursday in May and continues thru August 27, is a great opportunity for ladies to get together and play a little golf in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere. 

     Women will be playing their own ball for 9 holes utilizing 100% of an assigned handicap (players without a handicap will be assigned one until a new one can be established).  Each week, participants will receive points for the order of their finish and at the end of the league, prizes will be awarded to the women that have accumulated the most points throughout the season.  The players with the lowest net scores each week, as well as other on-course prize winners (closest to the pin, longest putt made, etc…) will be awarded credit from the weekly prize fund.  Weekly results and current standings will be e-mailed and posted in the golf shop. 

     Ladies can sign up for weekly league play by making a tee time at Van Berg each Thursday between 4:00pm and 5:20pm, or from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.  If you’re unable to play on Thursday, ladies may get together and “make up” the missed round prior to the following Thursday.    The one-time seasonal entry fee of $20 may be paid the first evening of play and there is no weekly entry fee.   Guest fee for non-passholders will remain at $10.75 (tax inc).
