2012 Girl's Night Out Golf at VanBerg... begins April 12th

    Van Berg golf course plays host to a popular Thursday evening "Girls Night Out” ladies golf league which begins play on April 12th and continues thru August 23rd.  This is an excellent opportunity for ladies to get together and play a little golf in a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere. 

     Women will be playing their own ball for 9 holes utilizing 100% of an assigned handicap (players without a handicap will be assigned one until a new handicap can be established).  Each week, participants will receive points for the order of their finish and at the end of the season, prizes will be awarded to the women that have accumulated the most points throughout the year.  The players with the lowest net scores each week, as well as other flag prize winners (closest to the pin, longest putt made, etc…) will be awarded credit from the weekly prize fund.  Weekly results and current standings will be e-mailed and posted in the golf shop. 

     Ladies can sign up for weekly league play by making a tee time at Van Berg each Thursday between 4:00pm and 5:20pm, or from 6:00pm to 6:30pm.  If you’re unable to play on any particular Thursday, ladies may get together prior to the following Thursday and “make up” the missed round .  The one-time seasonal entry fee of $20 is due the first evening of play and there is no weekly entry fee.   Guest fee for non-passholders is $10.00
